I currently have 6 years of experience working in Risk Management. During my 6 years of experience in risk management, I have worked to provide data quality assurance with over 100 companies. I have been at Wells Fargo for over a year now as the primary Engagement Manager for the Corporate Trust Services portfolio. CTS has provided me the opportunity to work with over 60 different companies in several countries and almost 100 separate engagements during this time. I have also provided support for Wells Fargo Capital Finance with almost 20 additional engagements. These engagements varied in terms of the services provided which has given me perspective from many different business angles. This has required diligent organizational skills, data analysis, data quality, data retention, comprehension, and meeting deadlines, among many other skills. During my time at Wells Fargo, I have devised new processes that my supervisor has directed my peers to follow defining methods of communication with line of business contacts in order to conduct risk assessments more efficiently and effectively. I have adopted my own methodology of utilizing the line of business contacts in depth knowledge of the inner workings of specific engagements in order to complete risk assessments and risk analysis in a more efficient process for the line of business as well as third party risk management.Just recently in December, I identified changes made to the program that affected one of my engagements and I was able to complete a recertification in order to reduce the risk of the engagement where the risk had recently risen which triggered unnecessary risk assessments. The assessments were impossible to complete because of the vendors unwillingness to provide us any information in order to complete them. The recertification allowed for a 20 year long engagement to continue running smoothly without asking more from the vendor than necessary.
