I worked alongside various lines of business within Investment Services by providing consultation and expertise in curriculum design, adult learning strategies, and professional development initiatives.The projects I managed spanned a wide spectrum of topics and scope. Some involved guiding small, specialized audiences through developing their own libraries of resources. Others involved creating and rolling out multi-faceted curricula for enterprise-wide transformations.

As a Learning Experience Designer at DICK’S, I designed and developed training materials for a diverse audience of over 40,000 employees spread across 6 lines of business and 800+ stores. These learning solutions took a blended approach comprised of a variety of deliverables: product comparison guides, infographics, videos, and interactive web-based courses. As Project Manager on numerous concurrent initiatives, I learned to juggle competing priorities and overlapping deadlines. The breadth of subject matter gave me the opportunity to work alongside and build relationships with cross-functional teams from all across the business.

After proving my value as a an Education Support Specialist, I was promoted to my second role with Abreon—Instructional Designer. In this role, I designed and developed deliverables for Razberi Technologies, a network security company, and Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, who specializes in healthcare software.

Abreon provided the bridge between academia and the corporate world. Leading a team of LMS administrators, we were on the front lines of response and troubleshooting. Aside from ensuring support ticket closure, my role also gave me the opportunity to flex into instructional design and technical writing. I was tasked with revising and writing job aids, quick reference guides, and client-facing help documentation. Success in this led to my assignment of documenting the implementation of a new virtual training environment.
