With over ten years as the superintendent of Troy Public Schools in Montana and early experiences as a science teacher in Wyoming, I have explored the transformative power of education. My doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Montana fueled my dedication to character education, research on blue ribbon practices, and relationship building for educators.Living abroad for over two years and leading school accreditation visits worldwide for fifteen years have broadened my perspectives. I advocate for lifelong learning, believing everyone has the capacity to learn and succeed. My philosophy emphasizes fostering individual learning, setting high expectations, and cultivating character to empower students academically and socially.I bring a wealth of expertise with eight years of teaching, leadership roles as an elementary and high school principal, and a decade as a superintendent.
