In this role, I provide leadership, direction, and guidance to all business units within the Office of Information Technology, ensuring optimal performance of networking services, IT operations, help desk services, academic technology platforms, information security, control systems, and web services. Effectively, I serve as primary point of contact to state agencies and higher education institutions regarding IT services and technologies. I was appointed to this position to ensure optimal performance of IT, security, compliance, and auditing functions for community bank with more than $275M in assets across four West Texas communities. In essence, I owned responsibility for developing enterprise-wide plan for business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response to address critical needs of business functions, internal processes, and bank personnel. I was responsible for evaluating hundreds of credit applications, appraisals, and supporting documentation monthly. I acquired a portfolio of just under $14 million within my first 7 months as an underwriter and achieved loan portfolio growth over 22 months.
