Senior Community Protection Officer
Current● Responsible for leading a team of 9 Community Protection Officers across 5 different political wards.● Liaising with local Councillors and MP's on a daily basis● Experience of successfully managing enforcement and uniformed frontline officers including out of hours and in an emergency.● Successful track record of delivering service improvements in politically sensitive environment and cross service collaboration● Experience and ability to deal effectively with issues of public, political and media interest.● Fully trained and experienced in central government ASB and enviro-crime legislation, policy and initiatives, including the ASB, Crime & Policing Act 2014● Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills, inspire, motivate, and lead by personal example.● Clear track record of successful team development, developing others by creating a culture of innovation and achievement.● Responsible for managing over 100 Police issued radios and writing risk assessments for the service.● Successful track record of delivering service improvements in politically sensitive environment and cross service collaboration.● Fully trained and experience in applying legislation regarding, ASB and enviro-crime, including the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014● Responsible for redesigning and implementing a new Safeguarding Process that Frontline Officers follow.● In charge of developing a new rostering application aimed at reducing the effort required for manually inputting rosters.● I assumed the primary role of assessing existing operational procedures and identifying opportunities for optimisation through the integration of available digital and AI solutions.
