I am currently working as the Maintenance Supervisor at Land O'Lakes Dairy in Kiel, WI. In this role I am responsible for receiving, writing, and scheduling both preventative and corrective work orders, coordinating projects with outside contractors and vendors, managing the schedule for the maintenance team, as well as a number of other administrative responsibilities. In the short time I have been in this role, I have been working to expand my knowledge of the manufacturing field, and the dairy industry as a whole through both my hands-on work experience and by pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Management from Lakeshore Technical College. Prior to my time at Land O'Lakes, I served about nine years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician. During that time, I worked in a variety of roles ranging from entry level mechanic to quality assurance inspector, to shop supervisor where I lead 52 military and civilian contractor employees in their day-to-day maintenance practices across nine individual work centers. As an Aviation Support Equipment Technician, I had the opportunity to learn and maintain a large variety of different types of equipment, such as diesel engines and drive train systems, electrical and power generation systems, A/C and refrigeration, cryogenic systems (N2, O2, LOX), etc. I look forward to learning more about manufacturing management, maintenance management, and the dairy industry as I continue to grow in my career and am excited to see where this industry takes me!
