4 years into developing from the ground up an apparel company which specialises in supplying schools, organisations, community clubs and businesses of all sizes access to well designed and high quality apparel. The director role at Cobrapparel has me currently managing 4 different teams of varying sizes and in various locations worldwide, as well as dealing with customer service, design and general business management. This is intertwined with a recently concluded seven year career with High Voltage energy distributor Essential Energy with large and complex project management and site supervisory roles in the high risk Zone Substation field. During my time there I was dually a Zone Substation Electrical Technician, which incorporated building, testing, repairing, and commissioning High Voltage sites and assets from 11-132,000kV. The role also required logistical management in regards to maintaining and assuring that PCB contaminated oil was duly and safely tested at 15 sites within my region, as well as picked up to ensure sites were compliant and environmentally safe. Notable projects included the state first site upgrade of a 11-33kV self contained substation, as well as the multi-million dollar Tumut 66 Zone Substation upgrade, which came to fruition off the back of in-depth thermographic testing and reports from myself, delivering more reliable power to the region and making the site incredibly safer for technicians.
