As well as working on Risk Assessment and Method Statement documentation. Thus, managing my time well to give the best service to our clients. •Report writing: Giving detail description on the site works which are presented to clients. This includes diagrams and tables to present installation information. Presenting the information in a digestible manner for less experienced people.•IT literate: Using Microsoft Word and Excel extensively to analyse data and produce high quality reports. Familiar with PDFs and editing of the documents or building a document using PDFs.•Teamwork: Working in a small team of 3 on site, which involves supporting each other to get the best results, either in the installation of equipment or collection of data. As well as, working in a small data processing team. Working on getting the Monthly reports issued to clients.•Communication: Being given responsibility on site to communicate to the client on the progress of drilling and installation works. Meeting new people daily and gaining a relationship in a short period to get the optimal service to the clients. •Problem solving: Site works often have issues that you have adapt to and work on a solution to. Reviewing Lithos’ previous reports to understand the detail needed for clients in site investigation. Working across Yorkshire, I have helped to CAT scan areas before work can take place. At these sites I help with sampling and logging to interpret the clays/sand and rock seen from drilling. Taken out two types of drilling being;• Trail Pitting and soak away testsUsing different sizes and types of plant (JCB, 14 ton track machine) to direct and dig suitable soak away pits for testing. I helped to measure the water depths and work out required depths needed to reach for a successful test. In the pits hand vein testing was also taken out to gain load bearing capacity data on the sites clays. • Percussion cable bore drilling Used for borehole drilling in soft materials, I’ve seen a rig being moved and placement as well as the mining techniques for different material. I’ve seen and supervise several tests taken out such as a standard penetration test (SPT), U100/UT100 testing, Groundwater level testing, Hazardous gas testing. Show less
