About Jacob Harvey

PhD student in LSU's Political Science Department. I have passed my dissertation defense and I am graduating in December 2024. Teaching is my passion and I am actively seeking a university level teaching role.My specialty is in Political Theory but I also work in International Relations and American Politics. My research interests are focused on early modern thinkers and their thoughts about the family, population and the regimes that they felt were best suited for liberty and human flourishing. I am currently instructing classes at LSU and have experience teaching in Political Theory and International Relations. Spring 2024 "Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award" nominee at LSU.
