I am a senior at Lewis & Clark College and on track to get my BA in International Affairs. I am interested in politics, social justice, and indigenous studies, but also decentralizing whiteness in academia, and decolonizing international solutions to make both areas accessible to everyone. I am also a vehement believer in the power of stories. They shape how we view each other and at their best inspire people to make the world a better place.As a first-generation mixed college student and a second-generation Mexican-American, I have had to learn how to work hard and navigate resources and systems on my own. This is one of the reasons that I believe I would be a great asset to any team or staff.
