During 3L year worked part-time as law office support. Learned MyCase case management software to intake potential clients. Drafted and prepared legal documents/correspondence. Ran legal documents to Columbiana and Jefferson County Probate Courts. Provided legal research on topics related to Medicaid, Estate Planning, and change in Elder Care Law.

Recruited as consultant to return to Legal Aid to manage two projects: Administrative Closings - went through case archives, found corresponding physical case files, and ensured the appropriate cases remained open or completed cases for closures. The second project Case Closing Days - trained legal interns from other city law firms to interview clients, and use the interview software. Regularly attended various Help Desks and interviewed potential clients.

Started as unpaid volunteer at Help Desks that interviewed low income clients to align free legal services with indigent needs. Interviewed clients at the Help Desk and verified specific legal issue, client income level, and approved or denied potential clients based on aid qualifications defined by the organization. Transitioned relevant information to volunteer attorney who provided official legal assistance.Promoted to paid intern and worked in the office starting in July 2018 to maintain case files or close cases depending on the client needs. Called prospective attorneys in the area, and invited them to volunteer legal services in support to the various Help Desks.
