I have an awesome career that has brought me around the country. I have helped construct power lines from Oregon to Massachusetts and as far south as Beaumont Texas. Stringing wire has given me the most pleasure in my career. I have helped with 500KV, multiple 345KV, and 230KV all the way down to 46KV. I also worked on lots of distribution circuits in Iowa and Minnesota, compete rebuilds to simple pole change outs. If I had to put a number on the miles of Powerline I have helped build it would be upwards of 3000 miles. I have been the General Foreman on multiple projects, handling manpower, tooling, project material and company representation to clients. Currently I enjoy bringing my knowledge of Powerline construction back to the trade through safety. What I’ve been able to learn in my career can be shared with all others before they may make the same mistakes I have made. I am an authorized OSHA 10/30 Construction instructor.
