I teach two courses in the professional development sequence at the University of Alabama, focusing on critical areas such as public speaking, resume writing, LinkedIn profile enhancement, and soft skills training. My role involves developing and delivering curricula tailored to diverse student backgrounds, ensuring that each participant can fully leverage these skills for their future career opportunities. I am committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment where all students are encouraged to actively engage and enhance their capabilities. My hope is that students gain the practical tools and confidence needed to excel in professional settings.

Proud to serve on the University of Alabama’s Faculty Senate, a body dedicated to enhancing university policies and promoting excellence through active faculty engagement and communication. In this role, I participate in the governance process, helping shape decisions that impact both academic and administrative functions at the university.

Led 10 students weekly in argumentation and public speaking practice. Drove students to tournaments where they won various team and individual awards. Several teams placed in the top 3 community colleges in the country for multiple seasons.

Coached over 20 students weekly in various public speaking and debate events. Led students to four national championships in the events I coached and numerous national finalists and semi-finalists. Assisted students with writing speeches and with delivery in weekly coaching sessions.
