Aerospace and Defense M&A Due Diligence and Strategic Advisory

Responsible with coordinating and guiding 60 members across 6 teams through the analysis of market trends. At our weekly meetings, I led discussion and analysis on cultural, political and financial/economic dynamics occurring across different global regions. During my freshman year, when I was an Analyst for the Africa Region, I studied emerging markets and compared models to identify opportunity inequality among geographical areas. My research was focused on technological development and investment across the African continent, specifically in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The following semester I was promoted to Regional Head of Europe, where I investigated unintended consequences of policies and regulations to forecast global financial and economic trends focusing on P3 contracts larger than $15 million.

As a Program Management Intern at Collins Aerospace, I managed program portfolios and financial accounts within the Missiles and Systems teams. I worked with multiple business units to conduct competitive intelligence to formulate Price-to-Win strategies on programs valued at over $100 million. Based upon the successful work I delivered to management, I was selected as Pursuit Manager for a $63 million defense contract proposal where I led strategic development, proposal management and overall business development. Along with the proposal, I worked on creating a data flow between core functional groups resulting in shared knowledge of program health and market forecasts by linking SAP to Tableau to increase data visualization for the site as a whole.

As a Strategic Research Analyst at Hudson Hemp, I conducted strategic market and financial analysis in a $2.6 billion emerging industry. The data compiled on hemp products and competition within New York directly supported the company on all aspects of market research and product development to create a Go-to-Market strategy. This strategy was further supported by my examination of state and federal regulations regarding the hemp industry.

Working as a Research Assistant under Professor Rick Geddes, I tracked the effects of the “Scaffold Law” in New York and Illinois with a focused analysis on Private-Public-Partnerships and acted as a liaison between research associates at Cornell University and NYU. I analyzed employment injury rates in both the public and private construction sectors from data I collected from private and governmental agencies. My research has been presented to academics in the field to be used for further PhD analysis and theses.

My research was focused on the changing demographics of the United States Armed Services and its impact on the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. In addition, I examined the change in diagnosis and treatment of PTSD and TBI of the United States Armed Services from World War I to current conflicts. My findings were then presented to both public and private sector health care providers.
