I am an Environmental Engineer who is passionate about science, technology and a sustainable future. I am particularly interested in the interaction between the environment and society, with a focus on political science. Currently, I am completing my PhD research on the politics of biodiversity conservation.Prior to commencing my PhD studies, I gained experience in both public and private industries in a broad range of specialisations. These include contamination assessment & remediation, groundwater and stormwater services, rehabilitation, waste management, large-scale earthworks, civil construction, coastal management, project management and environmental planning. Recently, I have also started lecturing for several classes as part of the Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Newcastle, alongside my PhD research.
