Worked on a full stack development team developing features for a corporate e-commerce cloud application, primarily using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React. I was exposed to a variety of cloud technologies in AWS, and developed server-less as well as containerized applications. I worked on a variety of projects moving features in a legacy monolith app into micro-services. One project of note was reimplementing the entire authentication and authorization functionality in the application. This included integrating with and migrating users into a third party authentication and authorization platform, as well as developing SSO functionality. This also required me becoming familiar with authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

Worked on two projects in an Agile development environment on a back end architecture team. The first project was to create plugins to help clean up Gradle build scripts. These plugins took care of much of the build configuration in the background, while the user would only have to write one line in their own script to apply the plugin and get all functionality. The second project was to develop a Spring Boot application to monitor the company's services that were running across various environments. This app would store information to a central repository about the projects such as the version that was running, the date the project was built, and which environments the projects were running on.

Worked in an agile development environment and was responsible for two projects throughout the summer. The first project was developing tools to help current employees interact with Bitbucket. The tool was written in Java and utilized Bitbucket APIs.The second project was creating a front end web interface to interact with a constraint solver called Optaplanner. The purpose of the solver was to figure out how to safely rearrange virtual machines off of old server racks to new racks while the old racks were being upgraded so as not to overload the remaining servers. The web UI was written in Javascript and HTML, and utilized tools such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
