I was a full-time employee at Indich. I have learned how to care for rugs, sell them, as well as what works best for each customer's needs. My responsibilities required me to sell, assist other salesmen, clean and upkeep the store, storefront, and delivery vehicle. I also aided in delivery and installations from clients all over the West side of the Big Island. Sales required me to interact with a different clientele base here which required me to use my communication and customer service skills. I left this job due to a move back to the mainland to Milton Georgia to live permanently.

Moving to Hawaii granted a fresh new start in a beautiful location. After arriving it was clear that I wanted to get involved with the community as much as possible, which lead to the decision of the purchase of a frame shop and gallery in Hilo, HI. My duties consisted of assisting with management in payroll systems and logging sales and revenue; assisting with building of crates from costumer shipping needs; opening and closing of store; and aiding in the event of an employee no show. I now live in Kailua Kona so my trips to work in Hilo have lessened.

Co-owner and operator of a 74-acre hay, horse, and cattle farm. There also are sheep, chickens, and a pig there for our own personal enjoyment. Our Production consists of the growing and cultivating of hay; taking in surrendered horses, re-breaking horses, and/or getting horses back safely to society; and caring for and raising angus cows for beef improvement.

Assisted and aided in anything and everything to lighten the workload of a three-person architecture business. I ran plans, printed blueprints, updated/tracked calendars and meetings, and set displays. This business has been sold and was the leading factor of leaving Atlanta and starting a Farming Career.

I started out as a lifeguard after graduating high school, working my way up and was promoted to Manager. There were three pools all together with the main job of supervising a staff of 20+ employees while ensuring the facilities ran smoothly; patron safety was our number one priority. Multiple times a day pool water was tested, and chemicals adjusted according to industry standards; staff were closely monitored to ensure safety and protocols were being met; and any patron issues and complaints were my responsibility to resolve. I held monthly team building meetings to ensure the team had a voice on operations, ideas for improvement, and overall work atmosphere. I prided myself as an active manager. If a position needed to be filled or a staff member did not show up, I would fill the position until more staff could be called in. It was a fun and rewarding job that created a lot of growth, especially right after high school.

After applying and being hired the same day, I immediately began learning how to make phone calls, sell memberships, process paperwork, keep the front desk operating smoothly, and how to properly care for and clean a gym. Taking potential clients on a gym tour, knowing this could make or break a new contract, I had to learn how to sell all the great features.
