Applications Engineer supporting process analytical technology integration into a variety of manufacturing areas.

The goal of this lab was to develop a new brand of Polaroid-like instant photography film. As a research and design chemistry intern, it was my job to conduct literature research on past developments and apply my findings to developing experiments. The primary goal of these experiments was to develop a silica based scaffold to support palladium dendrite growth, the basis for yielding a proper image. Other Responsibilities:- Operate semi-batch reactor to produce a polymer based initiator required for developing film.- Collaborate with third party vendors and manufacturers to facilitate product scale up.- Introduce engineering controls to product development to assure consistent quality and increase speed of manufacturing.

Responsible for cataloging incoming merchandise and preparing products for shipping.

Handled customer concerns and solicited sales of products and credit lines.
