In my most recent role as an operations manager, I led a small team of employees and contractors in the port operations division, overseeing profit and loss management, training, health and safety compliance, and customer onboarding. I developed and implemented both short-term and long-term business growth strategies, such as spearheading an overhaul of the technology-based dispatching and contractor payment model, which reduced stagnation and increased growth and productivity. I also fostered a change of perception of the brand to be more reliable, transparent, and accountable, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and retention rates.Prior to that, I was an account manager, responsible for onboarding and implementing new customers to achieve personal and branch revenue increase targets. I maintained multi-levelled relationships both externally with customers and internally within the branch, ensuring that the key performance indicators were met or exceeded. I also resolved escalated issues and maintained in-person call cycles, implementing account management plans to create resilient lasting relationships and position for extension business opportunities.After spending five months traveling around Europe and South East Asia, I relocated to London in August 2023, seeking new challenges and opportunities to apply my skills and experience in supply chain management and operations.
