-Oversee the management and performance of all golf shop operations and services while assuring high standards and total customer satisfaction.-Oversee the development of operating procedures and training manuals for the golf operation.-Oversee and manage the Assistant Golf Professional(s), all golf department staff, and bar/kitchen staff. -Coordinate plans with the Food and Beverage Manager for all food and beverage needs, on-course food and beverage needs, outside events, and catering for all golf functions.-Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.-Develop/oversee golf instruction, clinics, golf schools, and player development programs.-Maintain a close working relationship with the Grounds Crew on course set up and preparation. -Play golf with members of all skill levels as time and duties permit.-Manage the scheduling of all golf shop employees.

- Assists Head Pro with hiring, training and supervising Sales Associate and VolunteerStaff.- Effectively manages numerous types of tournaments from start to finish, includingparticipation in meetings.- Develop and implement clinics and camps.- Assists customers by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations.- Maintains handicap records.- Operates golf shop in absence of Sales Associate.- Assumes Head Golf Professional’s duties in Head Professional's absence.- Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations as needed.- Coordinates junior golf activities.- Provides golf instruction.- Performs starter or marshal duties regularly.- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Head Golf Professional

Job Description:Responsible for opening and closing the golf shop and driving range on a daily basis. Daily tasks included making sure all transactions were run correctly through the point of sale in the pro shop. Among checking in all guest, it was my responsibility to mange pace of play from our pro shop and giving the customer the best experience possible. At the end of the day it was my final task to run through all closing procedures with the outside staff to make sure the golf course was not only cleaned up but ready and functional for the upcoming day.
