Performed landscape assessment of federal and state regulations incentivizing commercial fleet electrification and the adoption of advanced energy solutions such as virtual powerplants.

In this role I managed both planning coordinators and tree installation teams in executing municipal tree planting contracts. To streamline and accelerate our internal planning process I introduced new practices such as iterative landscape design reviews and virtual site consultations with community members. This led to a 30% reduction in municipal.

Acting as my departments' purchaser, using a $250K budget to procure trees for municipal planting contracts and reduced inventory hold time by 10%.I also collaborated with over a dozen neighborhood associations and several metro Atlanta municipalities to plant over 2000 trees throughout the metro area. I'm most proud of managing Plantlanta, Trees Atlanta's.

As Assistant Coordinator I was responsible for planting and maintaining trees year around. I found great pleasure in training over 300 volunteers in the art and science of urban forestry.

Athens, Georgia Area

Assigned to the Leisure Services Department, I worked independently to maintain over 40 miles of trails. I assessed damage to 2 dangerously eroded trails, devised and executed trail reroutes with 3 other staff to improve park safety. Lastly, I led bi-monthly workdays to eradicate invasive species on 18 acres of park land.

Athens, Georgia Area

I returned to UGArden, the University of Georgia's campus farm, through AmeriCorps after previously interning and volunteering as a student. I developed standard harvest procedures and launched a new volunteer orientation, allowing the farm was able to run more efficiently, donating 20K lbs of produce to community foodbanks.

Khon Kaen, Thailand

As a Princeton in Asia Fellow I was selected by Khon Kaen University to teach English as a second language. I taught medical English to over 100 medicine and dental students, and conversational English to 200 students seeking to enter the tourism industry. Outside the classroom I coached student-actors for the spring one act play festival.

Soddo, Ethiopia

Girls Gotta Run is an Ethiopian nonprofit that provides scholarships and after school programs on fitness, health, and life skills in order to prevent girls from dropping out of school. I used quantitative and qualitative research methods to study the impact of the program on its clients and broader community. As a result I authored a consultative report.

Bread for Life is an Athens workforce development program focused on training the formerly incarcerated in culinary and hospitality industry career skills.
