PCC a.k.a. Partners in Context and Community Freshman President. (2009-2010): A Bowling Green State University sponsored group of education majors focused on teaching in high need urban areas. This group taught once a week in different schools across the downtown Toledo area. High School Senior Year Internship working with High School Special Education Teacher: This internship afforded me the opportunity to plan lessons and work with students to meet their IEP goals.Mission Trip Participant (Summer '08):I earned funding (cashiering and cooking at Cleveland Browns and Indian’s Stadium Concession stands) to pay for and participate in a mission trip to Juarez, Mexico, where I helped build an orphanage and worked with children in a Vacation Bible School.
