I was the instructor of record for mathematics and mathematics education courses for prospective and practicing teachers at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I designed and implemented three unique courses focused on improving the mathematics knowledge for teaching (MKT) of prospective middle grades math teachers. While a faculty member, I maintained a successful service and research record and my work was deemed on track for tenure at each annual review.

I was the instructor of record for undergraduate and graduate mathematics education courses. I worked extensively in schools in urban areas and supported practicing and prospective teachers' efforts to develop their pedagogical skills.
