I'm Jake, a dedicated cybersecurity professional with a primary focus on Cloud Security. As a Team lead for Cloud Security Architecture at M&T Bank, I work to craft industry-aligned cloud architecture, governance, and high level strategy. Our team's primary focus is supporting our "customers" - which are all of our application development teams, architecture teams, and business partners - as they develop and move to the cloud. We work to ensure our applications, either internally developed or third party, adhere to cybersecurity standards, aligned frameworks, and industry best practices. We also serve as consultants to the bank.I perform a leadership role - reporting to the director of Cloud Security and Architecture. I manage a small team of cloud architects. My background spans information systems security management, software development, and large scale system administration. I have a deep commitment to the field and I'm passionate about elevating security at any enterprise. Cybersecurity is a team sport that spans many fields.
