About Jacob Lahr

I was born and raised in Kansas and have that stereotypical Midwestern "can talk to a brick wall" mentality. I was a volunteer firefighter in my community for a few years before I joined the Air Force in 2015 and during my time of service was fortunate enough to have visited (even if only briefly) 14 different countries between 2015 and 2022.After the military I found a job in car sales that I thought was for me because of the communication and interaction aspect(s). While the job itself was both lucrative and filled my need for social interaction, it was just that- a job. I decided to re-enroll in school to pursue a CAREER with an Associate in Applied Science in Emergency Medical Science. I am also double majoring with an Associate in Arts to set myself up to pursue an Undergraduate degree in the near future. So far, I have received my EMT certification, started Paramedic school during the Spring 2024 semester and enrolled in a second Associates degree in Arts as a double major with a graduation date of May 2025. I currently have a 3.95 GPA and have been on the Dean's List every semester since August of 2022.
