As a Bioprocess Scientist, I have developed upstream cell-culture and fermentation processes for production of monoclonal antibodies, antigens, and enzyme products. During studies, I lead a team of up to five scientists and specialists, and act as the Upstream Project Lead for multi-department project coordination. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis.One of my proudest achievements was creating a novel upstream fermentation process for a recombinant enzyme in E. coli, resulting in a 900% increase in titer. I also developed an upstream process for a new yeast cell line, achieving a 500% increase in titer. I have experience in scaling down and transferring processes to pilot plant, as well as utilizing advanced bioreactor systems. I have strong skills in cell line development, cell biology, and cell culture, and I am passionate about applying them to improve biopharmaceutical processes and products.
