Introduced unit testing (doctest) into new and existing code bases. Feature design/implementation, code review, bug fixing, and documentation were also key responsibilities for this position.Plan, develop, and lead the software effort for the NC ePTZ and PTZ conference cameras which deliver high-quality video feeds natively to the Q-SYS Platform. As the software lead, established the NC software project to support collaborative development between an external team and QSC team by setting up scrum meetings, weekly sprint meetings, Jira Project, and Bitbucket repository. It was my responsibility to work with QSC product owners and the external team to prioritize and scope the Jira tasks to keep the program on schedule. Other accomplishments include developing a build system to easily integrate the external team’s camera software with QSC’s software, creating the ONVIF Camera library, integrating QSC IP onto NC cameras so the cameras behave similar to other QSys Peripherals, and improving the NC Camera upgrade process.
