Current Human Resources professional who is goal-oriented, passionate, driven, and possesses excellent people skills. Have you ever pursued a dream that did not work out? Ever put your heart and soul into something you were so passionate about but ended up failing at? Would you consider yourself a resilient person who perseveres when things don't work out? Well, that person is me. You see, after failing to graduate from my physical therapy program I had to find a new career path. Someone had mentioned to me that I should look at pursuing an MBA. After an extensive research process, I ended up enrolling in the LSU Shreveport online MBA program. I am officially halfway through the program and am heavily leaning towards doing a specialization in Finance.Moreover, I am fortunate to work for an outstanding private security company in International Protective Service, The company has rotated me in several departments that has allowed me to work as a receptionist, Lot Tech, and now Human Resources Assistant. In my current role I utilize skills that include good communication, being detail-oriented, practicing good organization, and employing outstanding computer literacy skills, including proficiency in google sheets, microsoft excel and google docs. I also utilize efficient time management skills as I work with another HR Assistant to carry out the onboarding process for our new hires. Previous jobs I have held include Customer Service Associate, Physical Therapy Technician/Aide, and the two roles listed above. My wide variety of skills and willingness to apply myself to learn make me a valuable employee. While I am grateful for my company, I am also grateful for the opportunity to pursue this Master's Degree.
