2015 - Fortune Best Places to WorkSummary: Two most significant projects thus far include creating a repository of cost benchmarking data and currently relevant information from past transmission projects and performing a time study on the cost/time efficiency of vibratory caisson foundations verses other methods of installation.• Benchmarking Repository: Consolidated and calculated numerous pieces of information for 50+ projects ATC has completed in the past. These projects range in size from small scale transmission to large, capital projects stretching over 300 miles. Some of this information will be used for future estimating or scheduling and other pieces are used as a basis for executive presentation.• Vibratory Caisson Time Study: This project included observing and taking time measurements during the installation of vibratory caisson foundations for the entire duration of a transmission project in Waukesha. Vibratory caisson installation was a newer method of installing foundations and it was to be compared with other, more commonly used methods. The information gathered was written into a formal report and later delivered to a team of executives.Ongoing internship through 2016-2017 in the same department

Researched Prostate Cancer therapies in vivo and in vitro.Primary responsibilities included:• Care for numerous different colonies and strains of mice, some of which were genetically selected and bred for immunodeficiency; this was our gene of interest• Maintain various cell lines of human prostate cancer strains; test different treatment methods and observe their effects on the cell lines over time (in vitro)• PCR genotyping to identify mice containing our target gene• Harvest and work with various tissue/organ samples from the different strains of mouse containing prostate cancer (in vivo)• Create a database of 1800+ cell line samples that were currently being held or had passed through the lab in the past• General laboratory maintenance
