Working with a diverse team of students from across Canada, I learned about and applied the critical future ready capabilities that are required to succeed in the workplace of the future. I worked with a team of 5 other people from across Canada in the development of an innovative solution to one of Canada’s biggest challenges, helping Indigenous communities get better access to health care. Through this project, we moved from ideation, to prototyping, to feedback, and refinement - culminating in a capstone presentation to industry leaders. Through Wavemakers, I was specifically recognized by industry leaders and experts for Leadership and Teamwork.As a Wavemakers Alumni, I am one of an exclusive group of Canadian graduates who has actually learned and worked in a virtual workspace - building trusted relationships, navigating complex questions, and delivering innovative solutions.
