I've worked in the financial industry for since 2012 with a specialty in alternative investments. I started in the financial industry as a data entry associate in 2012, recording transactions for a transfer agency. In a short period of time I began to grow into more advanced positions within my company. I was hand picked to join a specialized team that allowed me to gain additional insight into alternative investment products, events, technology, and operational leadership. I learned how each product type is supported and the unique requirements that make up an alternative investment or mutual fund product. I managed events such as new client implementations, conversions, liquidations, fund closures, and more. I used this information to continue to grow and provide more value to my company ultimately managing a team responsible for maintaining procedures for the transfer agency, client/sponsor specific procedures, new technology integration, and process improvements to the division to drive efficiency, reduce risk, generate revenue, and improve client satisfaction.
