I started off working my shifts behind the register. I took phone calls, ran transactions, and interacted with customers. This was my first taste of retail and customer service. I worked my way to a sales associate position where I got to spend time on the sales floor with the customers. I became certified through the major manufacturers and started doing fittings and club repairs. I also got trained in online retail helping with 'ship from store' orders.

I spent my senior summer working POS, club/equipment sales, teaching junior/beginner clinics, and shadowing private lessons taught by multiple certified instructors. Working POS, I learned the processes of both opening and closing the golf shop and developed a strong sense of proper customer service with both members and the public. From the sales side, I started a Weekly Demo Day program, which involved bringing out the newest models of clubs from each of the major manufactures for customers to try for free and promote sales. From the teaching side, I mostly helped with the junior and beginner golf programs. I taught different stations of the clinics in which we focused on basic fundamentals and the etiquette of the game.
