I am a highly motivated urban planner who is driven to deliver projects that have a positive impact on the community and the environment. I have over two years experience in preparing planning approval documents for Sutherland Shire Council, working in the development assessment and strategic planning teams. Through my employment and volunteering experiences, I have developed my communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills to always deliver high standards in my work. In my previous role at Sutherland Shire Council, I quickly developed my skills as an urban planner. I prepared assessments of a wide range development applications for local planning panels, managers and team leaders. I also collated research and prepared information resources, including presentations and maps, to convey strategic visions and directions to councillors and stakeholders. I am currently completing my honours year at the University of NSW and have maintained a distinction average in my Bachelor of City Planning degree. In addition to this, I have over four years’ experience in customer service and hospitality, including leading and training team members.
