I have served in the Air Force as a Security Forces member for six years. While serving I have learned many skills such as attention to detail, leading all kinds of people, time management, and many others. While serving I always tried my hardest, showing strong work ethic. In doing so I was recognized as Airman of the Year in 2018 out of 320 other peers, along with other awards and decorations.I have always been big on athletics. I realized helping others meet their fitness goals was my calling in the military. For eight months of my service, I worked as my Units Fitness Program Manager. This required me to organize and enforce a new Physical Training plan for over 320 people, and ensure they were ready to take their physical exam. If they were to fail, I created a plan of action to get them into top military shape. These plans consisted of both dieting tips and workout programs. This was not always easy as I would work with people of many backgrounds and even my senior leadership. With that said, I feel like I can work with anyone going forward!Also during my service, I completed my bachelors degree in Sports and Health Sciences at American Military University in just two years. I did this because I am passionate about fitness and helping others meet their goals. I did not look at this degree content as a chore or negatively, rather I was eager to learn even after my busiest days at work because I enjoyed the content. I am certainly eager to learn going forward and enhance my skills!
