My current technical focuses in design are Environmental Design, Motion Graphics, Web Design and Branding.I take pride in a concept and research heavy approach to design. I want users and the audience to have a smooth, innovative and effective experience. By delving heavily into concept backed thinking and research, I ensure that the project has a strong foundation to grow off of and develop. I was the President of the Student Design Collective at Sam Houston from 2019 to May 2020. The club (shortened to SDC commonly), focuses on further educating and supporting student designers, promoting local artwork, and preparing all students for their future careers. We lead a re-branding of the club's identity down to the bones of the group, and focused on creating an exciting educational platform to encourage, inspire and develop minds.During the early stages of COVID, I acted as the Creative Director and Lead Graphic Designer for my classes' online Senior Exhibition Show. My responsibilities included creation of the Senior Show brand style, coordination with other members to keep consistency in style, and creation of social media cover images. We successfully transitioned from a physical to a digital space in a student lead environment.I worked as a part of a small team to create the branding for the Active Learning program at Sam Houston State University. This was an in-depth task designed to breathe life into a long running program, aimed at drawing in the attention of both in and out of house students as well as faculty.Let's Talk!
