Jacob Marcotte is a Manufacturing Excellence & Lean Coach with Hexion Inc. in Houston where his main responsibility is coaching others to implement sustainable Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across multiple business functions. Previously, Jacob spent three years with Hexion as a Technical Development Specialist working closely to improve quality with several manufacturing plants. He has a strong grasp of Statistical Process Control and successfully developed new and robust testing methods, as well as Quality Management Standards according to ISO 9001:2015.Prior to joining Hexion, Jacob worked in Weatherford's Engineered Chemistry R&D department, responsible for developing new products, improving effectiveness of the current product line, and working with the manufacturing plant to strategically problem solve technical issues. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a minor in secondary education from the University of Illinois. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
