A graduate from the University of London, I worked in the financial sector of the City of London for a few years before becoming a Physics teacher in the early nineties. Writing as a hobby began after twenty-five years in the teaching profession.Following the completion of a humorous book and then an adventure novel, ‘Totality’, based on a trip to the United States to see the Solar Eclipse, lockdown provided the opportunity to work on ‘Thunder Moon’. The title is deliberately astronomical, as the main character also appears in ‘Totality’.Other hobbies include Astronomy and nature photography. Many astronomical themes appear in the books.I read a wide variety of books, however authors I’ve liked and admired include Graham Greene and Gabriel Garcia Marques, also Frank Herbert and James Wilcox. It is hard to narrow down my preferred genre.
