I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.I have an ACE personal training certificate.I am a personal trainer at the YMCA in Springfield Illinois.Im a personal trainer at the Springfield Racquet and Fitness Center in Springfield Illinois.I am a swim lesson instructor at the YMCA in Springfield Illinois.I enjoy interacting with people, I enjoy fitness, and I enjoy teaching fitness. I want to help everyone that I meet reach their fitness goals. I want everyone that I work with to avoid injuries, to get stronger, have more endurance, become more mobile, and become more flexible. I believe that people should have the physical fitness to do whatever they want with their bodies. If they want to climb a tree they should be able to climb a tree. If they want to run up a mountain, they should be able to run up a mountain. If they want to swim, they should be able to swim. If they want to climb off their roof to clean branches and leaves off their roof, they should have the ability to get on their roof. I want to help people with their fitness journeys. I want to help people obtain the ability to use their bodies to accomplish any physical activity which they desire to do.I worked as a remedial math tutor for a year while studying for my degree at UIS. It was sometimes frustrating when the students did not understand my math explanations, so I had to come up with new teaching strategies. I developed more patience when I tried to explain something multiple times. I developed leadership skills because I had to teach and lead the students to the right answer. I learned how to think outside the box and look at problems from different perspectives.Fitness has helped me personally have a greater joy for life. I love helping others become fitter and more able to enjoy life.I am thinking about becoming a physical therapist.
