During my time working on LEGO® Ideas, I've delivered a world-class community experience during a period of remarkable growth and commercial success, all aimed at building direct and long-lasting relationships.Resembling a Community Manager, within this role I have:- Helped deliver large organic community growth from 1 million when I started in 2019 to over 3 million members and growing in 2024.- Managing and delivering our newsletter with 800,000+ subscribers.- Engaged and managed the LEGO Ideas Facebook and X/Twitter, growing the audience to 480,000 without paid social support.- Growing member engagement by 400+% and maintaining high service levels despite resource constraints.- Running additional experimental projects and pilots. Inclusive of the LEGO Ideas Test Lab in 2022 to support new feature development.

Ensuring that the LEGO Ideas platform remains an incredible showcase of creativity by looking after it's community is key to it's success. Interacting with fans and making sure everyone has the best experience they can have, whether it's telling someone how awesome their project is or ensuring they have a good experience.The LEGO Ideas social media is handled by myself across Facebook and Twitter.I'm also responsible for content production, contests, coordinating with external partners, activities and blog posts on LEGO Ideas.

This role in the UK Cloud Marketing team at Google was to start the Google Cloud social media channels in the UK and Ireland, managing the content and building an amazing community from the ground up.I was responsible for covering events, managing campaigns and community management. I ensured that the channels I ran have great, relevant content for its followers in line with the Google Cloud messaging. Google Cloud encompasses many different products within Google, such as G Suite and the Google Cloud Platform.I also worked on @GoogleCloud_IN (India) from July 2018 until September 2018 and @GoogleCloudNord (Nordics) from August 2018 until I left in June 2019, ensuring that these channels also had engaging content, just as I did for the UK&I channel.

My role in the UK social team at Microsoft was to look after the technical audiences social media channels in the UK.More specifically, I looked after the TechNet UK and Microsoft Developer UK Twitter and Facebook accounts, managing the content and the community.Creating and managing campaigns was also my responsibility for the channels I owned, including working with other Microsoft channels such as Surface UK.

Working as a freelancer, on multiple social media accounts with various clients.I curated relevant content for my clients' accounts to post about, handled requests from clients to create content for a specific topic or event and created various graphics from scratch for use in print, social media and websites.I worked with various brands such as EasyJet, Verizon and more.I would also write social copy, organise reports and provide data analysis to help improve my clients' social media presence.

My role as a Consulting Apprentice at Microsoft, involved me using various technologies, such as C#, Typescript, Java and HTML and more; on different internal and customer projects. I gained lots of experience working on different projects with varying scopes and deadlines, not to mention the skills I’ve learned and developed thanks to the team around me; including the qualifications I earned.I have also obtained a Level 3 BTEC in Software Development, with the course lasting a total of 18 months.

At SocialRetail, I analysed the social media posts made by client stores, then giving feedback and information on how they can improve their customer interaction and increase sales. I analysed the accounts to provide improvements, to help increase the amount of interaction the stores were getting, and helping to provide a big online presence for various clients on social media.
