The TEC-E is responsible for providing college-wide PC support, remote assistance, maintenance, and upgrades for all Butler Community College Campuses. This includes maintaining the instructional and open computer labs and providing technical support to students, faculty, and staff. This position will assist with the use of computer software including virus protection, Microsoft Office, Windows OS, Outlook, and maintain documentation. This position will work closely with the Computer Support Technician’s to maintain college computer inventory and computer replacement. The TEC-E is responsible for entering, responding to and resolving Technical Help Desk Tickets during both Help Desk and Field Tech shifts, and performing assigned projects by all Network & Computer Support Full time Staff. This position will also work the Director of Network & Computer Support and the Associate Director of Network & IP Telephony to provide quality support for the Network and Voice Infrastructure.
