Responsibilities: Hardwood floor construction: restoration and installation including sanding, edging, staining, finishing and debris removal. Accomplishments/Skills: Manipulate various wood types (measure, carve, scrape, shape, edge, polish, and stain). Learned and refined skills with multiple types of tools including saws, edge and room sanders, buffers, and nail guns. Excellent eye/hand coordination necessary. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for hours at hand while on hands and knees. Finish and refine job to owner’s liking while ensuring no blemishes or faults in the project. Teach and train new employees on wood basics and machine use.

Responsibilities: Hot-side line cook, prep and restaurant opening. Proper labeling on products and food preparation before store opening. Learned the Red Robin style of food prep, including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying and cooking various meals such as meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups and other ingredients. Followed a recipe book on Red Robin foods with food safety and cleanliness in mind, prepared food in a timely manner, all while keeping my tickets in order.Accomplishments/Skills: Developed skills in the kitchen including proper knife use, food labeling and preparation while cooking to USDA health standards. Learned to use a broiler and grill correctly to cook several types of protein to specific temperatures. Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities: Clear and clean tables, floors, seats, restocking, plates, and any pans. Clean/scrub all dishes, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Storage Organization, cleaned kitchen line, swept floors, wiped down appliances and tables, and trash removal. Accomplishments/skills: Kept my co-workers and guests worry free by adhering to safe food handling and cleanliness rules. Ability to work in a team environment and show strong work ethic.

Responsibilities: Partook in all aspects of the restaurant operation: trained to do everything from cleaning to cooking to customer service and cleanliness.
