After spending 5 years stationed abroad as a United States Marine, I have happily returned to the Midwest to explore opportunities in which I can leverage my leadership, project coordination, and operational skills to facilitate smooth project planning, delivery, and implementation. As a Marine in Okinawa, Switzerland, Togo, and China, I emerged as a team leader due to my ability to unite staff around a common goal while achieving exceptional quality and customer service standards. As Project Coordinator and primary point of contact for 26 agencies throughout their transformation as part of the State of Illinois ACTS ERP implementation, I have continued to develop these skills, and will continue to develop more.I am comfortable in quickly shifting environments, and feel fortunate to have been exposed to so many unique experiences. In fact, I was entrusted to work alongside the Diplomatic Security Service and Secret Service during President Barack Obama's and John Kerry's visits to Asia (2 separate occasions). I enjoy training and guiding teams, and have done so since I was a teenager through extracurricular and construction field roles. The skills I developed in planning, oversight, and multi-stakeholder engagement have prepared me well for a new role as a key member of project teams. Specialties: Team Supervision, Turnaround Management, Process Reengineering, Customer Service, Performance Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management, Project Tracking, SOP Development, Program Documentation, Resource Allocation
