Hello! I’m Jake, an MIT undergraduate, and I envision a future world devoid of infectious disease. I study chemical engineering, biophysics and global health to unite my passions for intersecting STEM and communication to solve complex problems in the arenas of biotechnology and public health. My extensive research of nanobiosensor development and involvement in fostering more interconnected, healthier communities at MIT have provided me with invaluable insight into the unique powers of both technology and humanistic studies. These experiences have invigorated my drive to develop adaptable and interdisciplinary approaches to tackling global health’s biggest obstacles, creating a healthier world for all.
