I am the In-House Counsel at Plant Construction Company, L.P., a general contractor that has been in business since 1947. I am responsible for all legal and risk management, including construction, employment, HR, Cal/OSHA, immigration and contract issues. I serve as Secretary of the corporate managing general partner.

I was a member of the litigation department at Berding & Weil LLP. I represented a wide variety of real estate clients, including common interest developments, commercial owners, single-family owners, and associations in complex construction defect and class action lawsuits throughout California. This included serving as litigation counsel for one of the largest apartment owners in the United States, which involved litigating multi-million dollar cases all over the state. My extensive litigation practice in both federal and state courts has encompassed complex real estate and construction defect claims, disputes regarding commercial and consumer sales transactions, property damage and contract claims relating to home improvement projects, partnership disputes involving dissolution and division of assets, fraud claims relating to multi-million dollar transactions, boundary disputes, product liability and personal injury claims. I have second-chair trial experience, and am familiar with and have participated in all forms of alternative dispute resolution.I also served as general outside counsel to one to the largest non-profit affordable housing companies in San Francisco. I counseled that entity on its commercial disputes, contract negotiations, landlord-tenant issues, and the implementation and interpretation of internal company policy.I have been elected as a Super Lawyers “Northern California Rising Star” every year since 2014. This peer-nominated and evaluated award is granted to no more than 2.5% of attorneys under 40 years old in the State of California.
