In this position I am responsible for testing new configurations and developing software and hardware improvements for the program. For any improvements that move forward, I create how-to documentation for other sites to implement the approved change.Daily duties include: Testing software updates for stability, bugs, and changes before deploying to production devices. Creating documentation on how to apply new configuration changes. Developing solutions to current problems or communicating issues to software developers for them to fix. Collaborating with external software and hardware partners to continue program development. Coordinating with Air Force personnel for testing and configuration changes. Implementing DoD required cyber security measures and performing SCAP security scans.

In this position I assisted in starting up the first ever US Air Force simulator-only training program. This includes standing up training devices at multiple Air Force bases and being a device technician for the first ever simulator only student pilot class. Working with a team, we successfully brought each device up to the standard for Sim-Certification.Daily duties include: Simulator maintenance and updates. Setting up student pilot sorties and documenting usage. Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner and sometimes in high-pressure situations. Performing security related tasks including SCAP scans and reports. Configuring, testing, and implementing changes to the Prepar3D flight simulation program. Setting up Varjo mixed reality headsets for students. Interacting with DVs and providing an excellent customer service experience for students and Instructor Pilots.

I was a part of a team responsible for maintaining 65 Air Force ITDs (Immersive Training Device) at Vance Air Force Base. Maintenance involved updating/troubleshooting software, repairing hardware, performing STIG Compliance Checks, and developing new ways to utilize ITDs
