I am a recent graduate of Northeastern's Level Data Analytics program. While there I gained practical experience in a variety of different software applications, including SQL, R, Tableau, Python and Excel. As part of my education I have developed proficiencies in the following areas: • Linear and logistic modeling• Statistical testing, including T-Tests, Chi Rho tests, logistic and linear regression, ANOVA, and F-Tests• Visualization tools such as Tableau, ggplot and Excel's Data Analysis ToolPak• Database architecture in SQL• Machine learning practices such as Bayesian modeling, random forest, k-means, logistic modeling, outlier detection, and clusteringDuring my tenure at Northeastern, I worked with a number of different real datasets. These included, Boston 311 data, to determine departmental inefficiency and a recruiting company's New York City staffing data, to determine which professions had the most difficulties filling positions. While these two were largely theoretical exercises, I also worked directly with a major public-school system to determine whether there was any correlation between year-end test results and student demography. I excelled during my time at Northeastern, doing extremely well on all projects and my finals. Ultimately, I would like to parlay this experience into a professional opportunity working in the field of data analytics.
