Inland Container Depot and Regional Logistics Center.I was responsible for setting up the Finance and Treasury function of the ICD, and be the main point of contact for our partners, partnering with the Heads Of each department whilst providing input into policy setting and long term forecasting.Financial Accounting Control/Compliance;I was in charge of Financial Management (including ledgers, statutory accounting, tax, budget reports, management reports), preparing full year financial reports, reviewing cash flow statements, Completing tax calculations and adhoc work as required by the team.Management Reporting: -Providing weekly variance analysis report for all cost/revenue centres with commentary;-Reviewing departments P&L reports and post monthly standing and accrual journals;-Preparing monthly management reports and head of departments regularly to ensure accurate financial reporting;Budgeting and Forecasting: - Preparing annual Budget and quarterly Rolling Forecast for each business units; -Conducting KPI and variance analysis; and-Preparing Budget and Forecast presentation to the management.Tax Accounting:-Transactional Tax accounting including VAT and Payroll Tax returns; and-Annual Income Tax return.Business Analysis: -Providing labour cost analysis, CAPEX analysis and Management Scorecard for continuous improvement purpose;-Providing KPI analysis and recommendation to Business/ Operation Managers to identify area for process improvement; and-Working with sales team for quotation preparation
