Assurance Director
Current• Manage audits for a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients in various industries with annual revenues ranging from $250 million to $5 billion with a focus on industrial manufacturing, distribution, and engineering & construction• Review annual financial statements and related footnotes for accuracy ensuring preparation in accordance with applicable reporting standards. • Extensive writing experience authoring memos on complex transaction based topics such as business combinations, divestitures, debt restructurings, and real estate sales• Experience working on multi-billion dollar business acquisition preparing purchase accounting while in an advisory role with a specialty, technical accounting group• Build and maintain relationships internally at all levels and across lines of service as well as with client management• Supervise and lead work performed by multiple teams of 4 to 10 individuals simultaneously to accomplish audit and other project objectives timely and on budget• Instruct annual trainings for experienced staff to promote quality and staff development.• Co-leader of the Minneapolis office volunteering initiative for tutoring in local schools
