• Worked as part of an integrated product team in the mechanical design, development, and manufacture of stationary and mobile antenna systems for space, air, land and sea applications• Designed and tested motion profiles for accelerated life tests to simulate antenna operational wear on airplanes• Conducted thermal tests to analyze effect of antenna’s internal heat flow on platter friction • Supported Systems and Software engineering teams in developing and implementing new test software for antenna calibration and quality control• Engaged in testing and studies for improved encoder reading reliability through index enlargement into quadrature tracks to improve robustness against thermal expansion and environmental disturbances• Performed environmental and vibrational testing to analyze and qualify structural resiliency of chassis and internal electronics of antenna and system network hardware
