I have been in emergency medicine since 2016. I spent my first few as an EMT working in California. I started doing basic life support in the north bay. Then I had progressed into critical care transport working all throughout the state with a focus on San Francisco and Oakland. During this time I also served on various strike teams during the 2017 and 2018 wildfires that devastated many communities including the one I grew up in. In September 2018 I enlisted in the army. I trained in both Fort Benning, GA and Fort Sam Houston, TX to earn the title of combat medic. I was stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA but have traveled to various locations to perform my duties which include providing clinical healthcare, emergency medical services and evacuation utilizing various ground and air assets. I was an Instructor for basic first aid and combat life saver courses. I was hand selected by senior leadership to attend multiple special schools/trainings during my enlistment. I am also an Army Safety Guardian recipient for various real world events I had positively impacted as a combat medic and leader.I hope to continue my service to the American people and our communities as a ER tech in a hospital and go to school to become a registered nurse.
